What we keep

When you log in: your email address (via a login link or via Google). We never show it to others.

What you enter yourself: your display name, your reviews (score, cooking time, tip), photos you upload, your saved list and your email preferences.

Without an account: only that a recipe page was viewed or that someone clicked through to a recipe, without storing who.

Why

To log you in, show your reviews and calculate the rankings.

To send you emails you chose yourself (a reminder to review, the weekly email). You can unsubscribe any time via the link in the email or in My list.

Cookies

We only use necessary cookies: to keep you logged in and to remember your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.

To see how many visitors the site has and which pages they view, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies and without data that can be traced back to you.

Who helps us

Supabase (database, login and photo storage), Vercel (website hosting) and, if you choose it, Google (log in with Google). For emails we use Resend. These parties only process data on behalf of RankMyRecipe.

How long

As long as your account exists. If you delete your account or ask us to, we remove your data, reviews and photos.

Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your data. Email seppe.consten@gmail.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to your data protection authority.
